About Dr.
Dr Arnab Pal is specialist in Cataract surgery with Premium IOLs and Squint surgery. He is also an expert in Paediatric Ophthalmology including complicated cataract surgeries in children and newborn. He has performed more than 10000 PHACO Surgeries till date, including FLACS (Femto Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery). He is also an accomplished trainer in cataract surgeries for many budding eye surgeons.
Dr Arnab Pal is also one of the very few squint surgeons in Eastern India and has been regularly performing successful squint surgeries in patients from West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar and North Eastern states.
Though not a retinal surgeon, he has an interest in medical retina cases. He also regularly examines glaucoma patients and is an expert in evaluating and treating medical glaucoma cases.
Academic:
An alumni of the prestigious RKM Narendrapur,Dr Arnab Pal secured 16th rank in WBJEE(2005),following which he did his MBBS from Medical College,Kolkata(2011) and post-graduation in ophthalmology from RIO,Medical College,Kolkata(2015).He then proceeded to secure the degree of DNB in Ophthalmology(2018) following which he did super speciality fellowship training in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus.
He is also the holder of the international fellowships of FRCS Glasgow(2) and ICO UK(2).
